The Bamboo Bar and Restaurant which is the longest established farang bar in town (15 years) shared with the locals their own celebrations on Sunday evening with a fantastic birthday party.
The Bamboo’s resident duo helped the party to go with a swing with a well-received selection of Thai and farang music. In addition, the Buriram Times’ own reporter Graham Dresser also chipped in with a variety of songs ranging from folk to heavy metal.
Our lovely landlady Vella (known to us affectingly as Wella) welcomed her brother for the wonderful party to celebrate his birthday.
Colonel (Col.) Sunasak Cham Nan Kit of the Cavalry Battalion based in Phetcha Bun Province enjoyed his party along with the locals and we were privileged to be in his company, a true officer and gentleman.
