All of Thailand celebrated the Loy Krathong festival last night. The spectacular event went ahead with everyone floating their little leaf boats with their candles to ensure good luck for the coming year.
This wonderful event was enjoyed by everyone of all ages, although this year the mood was more sombre than usual as the country is still in mourning for our beloved King.
Fireworks were not allowed, and no live concerts this year.
