Nine pairs teed off at 7am on a pleasant, sunny morning. The scoring was high, with only a single point separating first and second. The winning pair was Steve and Ian with an excellent 47 points. Hot on their heels were Rene and Tommy with 46 and third place went to Colin Bradwell and Toni on 41 points.

The players then adjourned to the “Club House”, Paddy’s Irish Bar for the presentations. Captain Tony Murphy presented the prizes which included nearest the pin on 1/10, won by Colin Bradwell and 6/15 won by Magnus Sundgren.

Magnus also received a belated Most Improved Player of the Year award for last year..
Tony then made a brief speech about how much he had enjoyed his year before pointing out that he was not handing over to incoming captain Colin Bradwell just yet as he still had a few days in office left.

The players and customers then enjoyed an excellent light buffet provided by landlord Rod and My before proceedings were concluded for another year.
