The government will start broadcasting a 12-episode television programme from today covering its achievements over its past three years in power.
The episodes will be aired on every TV channel as a special edition of “Thailand Moving Forward” every Sunday for 12 weeks from 6pm, shortly after the Anthem is played in the evening, National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) spokeswoman Colonel Sirichan Ngathong said yesterday.
Today’s first episode is about efforts to lift civil aviation standards after Thailand was “red-flagged” by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO).
“This is one of the country’s problems being tackled by the government and the NCPO. The goal is to increase Thai standards in civil aviation to meet international levels,” Sirichan said.
Other episodes would cover matters such as educational reform, tackling economic woes, helping farmers and people with low incomes, maintaining peace, and problems from global treaties.
