Buriram United have officially written to the Thai FA stating that they have no wish to take part in any further games this season. They are “happy” to concede any scheduled matches.
They simply do not want to play.
Initially it was thought that the letter was to the FA, but now having had a more accurate “translation” it appears that in fact it is an open letter from Newin Chidchob, expressing his own personal feelings.
It will be interesting to see what happens at the Thai FA meeting. We apologize for the error in reporting that the letter was to the FA. It is not easy getting accurate information due to Buriram’s reticence in putting anything out in English. Translate on Facebook is even worse than Google !
