The twins are the first players to exit Buriram United.

Buriram have wasted little time in allowing players to leave as the rebuilding process begins. The long-serving twins (34 years old), Suree and Surat have signed for newly-promoted Ubon UMT on two-year contracts. No fees were involved as they had been released by the club.

The Times wishes them well.

Chaowat, on the move ?

More surprisingly, highly rated 20 year- old midfielder Chaowat looks to be heading to Bangkok Glass, though this has not yet been confirmed. No fee has been mentioned but it is likely to be high due to his age and international prospects.

This is only the beginning and it is certain that there will be a number of faces heading in and out of the club, following Buriram’s disastrous 2016 season.

Buriram fans might be interested to know that former head coach Alexandre Gama has been appointed head coach at Chiang Rai United. Alexandre was a popular figure at Thunder Castle and we wish him well in his new post.
