Buriram’s game at Ratchaburi was abandoned due to torrential rain with the home side leading 1-0. Chitipat conceded a needless penalty in the first minute which was converted before the rain became a deluge as the pitch flooded.
The referee had no alternative but to take the players off midway through the first-half.
Although the rain did ease a little , following an inspection an hour later the referee quite rightly decided that no play would be possible and abandoned the match.
No date has been set for the re-arrangement at the time of writing.
