Buriram came away with three well-earned points from a tricky away fixture at Bangkok United. Buriram dominated the first-half but failed to break down their opponents who were guilty of some dreadful tackles, something that is becoming far too familiar in Buriram fixtures.

Despite Buriram’s dominance, it was United who came closest to breaking the deadlock when they hit the bar with a header from a left-wing cross. The Bangkok keeper made a couple of good saves but looked shaky to say the least.bangu

Buriram continued to press forward in the second-half and finally broke the deadlock in bizarre fashion in the sixty-fourth minute.Theerethon sent over a free-kick from the right wing which bounced in front of the keeper who watched it end up in the net.

Two minutes later Buriram increased their lead with a fine goal when Macena timed his run perfectly to latch onto a superb through ball from the left wing to move forward and round the keeper before rolling the ball into the empty net.

The game was over and Buriram added a third in stoppage time when Jandson rose superbly to  head in a Theerathon free kick.So a comprehensive away win which leaves Buriram locked at the top with Muang Thong who have a two goal better goal difference.
