It is with regret that we announce the passing of Jack Strong, a well-known figure in the Buriram Ex-Pat community. Jack was 79 and became unwell last month and entered hospital on October 24.
However, he was not responding to treatment and his kidneys were shutting down. Jack decided that he wished to end his days at his home and he left hospital on Thursaday, November 9. He passed away peacefully with his family with him at 7.45am on Saturday November 11.
The Buriram Times extend their sincere condolences to Jack’s wife Dao and her family.
The funeral will be held tomorrow (Thursday November 16) at Dao’s village Bandonwai, Tambon Krasang, Muang, Buriram.
Jack will be taken from Dao’s family home at midday to Songsilarm Temple . Monks will begin prayers at 2pm and the burning is scheduled for 4pm.
Unfortunately, we do not have maps or exact directions to Bandonwai.
