A brilliant last-minute goal by Supachok gave Buriram a 1-0 victory over arch-rivals Muang Thong. Supachok drilled in a superb right-foot shot just inside the far-post from 20 yards to spark wild celebrations.
In a very tight encounter, both sides struck the woodwork but Buriram created the better chances, with skipper Supachok a constant threat. He almost broke the deadlock seconds earlier but he wasn’t to be denied as Buriram retained the trophy, following victory over the same opponents last year.
