Following the passing of His Majesty King Bhumibol, the authorities have called for 30 days without entertainment.

Morrissey’s Thailand sold-out gig at the Moonstar Studio, Bangkok on Tuesday 18th October has been cancelled. Promoters Viji Corp made the announcement via their Facebook page informing fans they can claim a refund at the point of purchase.

Most live shows and events across Thailand have already either been cancelled or rescheduled; it is advisable to check with organisers if you have plans to attend or have purchased tickets for anything set to take place in the month ahead.

Events including festivals and shows this weekend have been cancelled, with more cancellation announcements also coming in from local event promoters.

Buriram venues announced they would close temporarily, either for the day, through the weekend or until further notice. Some will remain open as usual, only cancelling special events.
