A foreigner has gone onto Facebook to seemingly complain about someone who has been stealing his ants.
A video showed the unnamed westerner mock ranting on the page of “Udom Suk Saneh”.
Speaking in a northern dialect he bemoans that he was actually nearby when someone came and made off with his nest of “mot som” that he was intending to eat for his dinner.
Now he has nothing to eat!
Mot Som are a kind of sour tasting ant species popular with Thais.
A sign went up to say that the ants had an owner – and to lay off!
Media were trying to get in touch with the foreigner to find out who he is and what exactly is causing the ants in his pants!
The man’s profile picture has him holding another Thai sign that reads: “It’s terrible that I don’t have Thai nationality.”
