Golf Competition As Part Of Anzac Day Commemoration Run By Paddy’s Bar And Buriram Golf Society

Anzac Day, a time to reflect.

On Tuesday April 25 to commemorate Anzac Day, Buriram Golf Society and Paddy’s Irish Bar have organised a golf competition which is open to everyone, with no handicap required. It will be run in teams of four if possible and teams will be drawn out.

There is no handicap involved and the best individual score on each hole will count as the team score. Scoring is as follows:- eagle 5 pts, birdie 4 pts, par 3 pts, bogey 2 pts, double bogey 1 pt.

There will be modest prizes for the winning team and there will be a nearest the pin prize on the par three’s. There is no entry fee, though the usual green, caddy and buggy fees remain.

Following the golf, it will be back to Paddy’s Irish Bar and Outback Grill for a sausage sizzle or snags for those who are fluent in Aussie which will be free of charge. Drinks are NOT free !

Entertainment will be available in the shape of Australian music or for those brave enough, the You Tube Karaoke !

Please get your entries in ASAP as the list will come down on April 21 . So get off your butts and let’s make it truly a day to remember.

Note: The competiion will start at 7.30am. Please arrive in good time.
