The GOMS Killer Pool Competition was held on Wednesday, November 29 at the Harley Route 288 Bar. It attracted an entry of 16 players, 10 male and 6 females. There were 5 Thais taking part, giving the competition a true “international” flavour.
There was also a good turn-out of spectators which added to the occasion.
Play got under way around 5pm and the good-natured “banter” soon became evident. For those not familiar with the game, each player has three lives and they lose one every time they fail to pot a ball. Last person standing is the winner.
The field was slowly whittled down until only Darrell Busser was left, so therefore the winner.

The GOMS would like to thank everyone involved in staging the event, Tom and his staff, the Buriram Pie Man and Lady for their sponsorship, all the bars who advertised it and the Buriram Times for their coverage.

The next GOMS meeting will be on Thursday December 7 at Harley Route 288 at 4pm.
