There was a good crowd in Paddy’s Irish Bar for landlord Mike’s latest musical offering.
The usual trio became a duo as the talented bassist was unavailable. There was also a change in lead singer and the audience were wondering how this would affect the performance.
They needn’t have worried as the boys produced two excellent sets, the second being particularly memorable.
If I had to be critical at all, speaking as a farang , perhaps there were a little too many Thai songs in the first set. However, the numbers were all well-performed and the vocalist was melodic and crystal clear.
The highlight was undoubtedly the Oasis covers and the vocals would have made Liam Gallagher sit up and take notice. They are not easy songs to sing, (speaking from experience!) but the young man nailed them.
As mentioned earlier, there was a really good atmosphere in the bar and everyone had a great time. (Hope the YouTube karaoke is back with us next time Mike !)
