It also means that Buriram is the number 1 Rajabhat university in the country as the next one in the national rankings comes in at 31.
The university is a major assett for Buriram as it provides work for construction companies with the ongoing extensions on the campus. Its students also benefit local businesses as well as landlords who provide student accommodation.
