The Meteorological Department issued its 7th weather warning for this week at 5am on Tuesday.
nfall with isolated heavy showers in parts of the Northern, Northeastern, Central, Eastern and Southern regions of Thailand until Thursday, due to a monsoon trough passing over the Northern regions of Laos and Vietnam, coupled with the Southwestern monsoon looming over the Andaman Sea.
Sailors are warned to exercise caution and to avoid stormy areas, while small boats are advised to stay on shore due to rough seas with 2-3 metre waves in both the Gulf and the Andaman Sea until Saturday.
Increased rainfall, as well as isolated heavy rain, are forecast for today until Thursday in most provinces of the North, the Northeast, Central, Eastern and Southern regions.
