Kesiyaporn Patjareuang alleged that her Hung Lay karaoke and restaurant was ordered shut after the son of a cop at the Don Hua Lor station complained of getting poor service.
The man had been upset with a singer he had spoken to and been cross that he didn’t get a special discount, she told regional chief Pol Maj Gen Chatpath Charurueanphong.
And the plucky owner went armed with a recording she had made of police talking over the phone in which a request made to limit the ban to three days was denied.
Kesiyaporn said that she has operated completely legally for nine years and now this has happened. She said she wanted justice especially as the closure was causing hardship for the twenty employees of Hung Lay who now had less income.
