Two of Buriram’s well-known personalities held a special lunch at the Tulip Hotel to celebrate thirty years as both close friends and business associates. Hywel Williams and Peter Dempsey were joined by a small group of friends for what turned out to be a very entertaining afternoon in Buriram.(and for some, evening as well !)
Hywel runs several businesses involving property sales and rentals, as well as project managing a number of new housing developments in the Buriram area. He is of course also the owner of the Buriram Times.
Peter runs the Buriram Car and Motorcycle Hire and can always be relied upon to “give you a good deal !” Their business enterprises have taken them all over the globe ,including Wales, the Canary Islands, Spain, Paris and of course Thailand.
Hywel and Peter kept their guests thoroughly entertained with stories of their “interesting” experiences during their many years together. Sadly, I have been sworn to secrecy so I am unable to share them with you.
All present were very grateful for their generous hospitality and to the management and staff of the Tulip Hotel for the superb meal .
Most of the party then moved onto the Bamboo where the merriment continued well into the night. Some “retired hurt” but a few hardy souls managed to keep going to eventually bring a memorable day to a satisfactory conclusion !! Thanks again Hywel and Pete from all of your guests and we hope you have many more years together.
