A Thai prostitute was blasted six times in the head by her jealous boyfriend who discovered she was seeing a string of foreign men, police believe.
Naphathorn Kanokasemsophon, 23, who lived in seedy sex tourism capital Pattaya, was shot and killed while sitting in her new car which she had bought using cash from her other lovers.
Nicknamed “Nurse”, the tragic young woman’s admirers included one Dutch tourist who sent her £700 every month.
Naphathorn used the allowances from her many boyfriends to pay for a boob job, cosmetic surgery, designer clothes and the new Honda Civic which she was killed in.
According to reports, she was seeing scores of other men in the notorious red light city.
Her alleged killer Wallop Huayhongthong, a Thai national who she had been dating for a year, went into a rage after discovering her lucrative double life.
Following an argument over her other relationships, Wallop allegedly hunted Naphathorn down as she drove her new car.
He allegedly unloaded six bullets into her head as she sat in the driver’s seat at 3am on Monday morning in the Nakhon Pathom province – around three hours drive from Pattaya.
Cops have now issued an arrest warrant for Wallop, who they believe tricked his partner into meeting in the early hours of the morning with the plan to kill her.
When officers checked the victim’s smartphone they found that a man, who she had stored as Wallop On The Way, asked her to meet him in person.
The message said that if she agreed to the meeting he would stop contacting her.
Police Colonel Phaitoon Phitaktham, who is leading the murder investigation, said:
”We believe that this murder is motivated by jealousy.
“The victim worked in Pattaya and had several boyfriends.
She was divorced and had two children from the past.
The man who we have identified as the suspect was her boyfriend for about one year.
We believe he shot her after an argument about other boyfriends she had.”
Police said that Naapathorn had another boyfriend in Holland who sent her 30,000 baht a month (£700) and would visit her every three months.
Phone records also suggest she was seeing other men in the region, spending money of lavish goods and supporting her family in a different area.
