Blancpain GT World Challenge Asia

Blancpain GT World Challenge Asia

This weekend was race 3 & 4 of the series that started at the Sepang race track in Malaysia.  Cars compete in the GT3 and GT4 series.  GT3 racing included 26 cars including Mercedes, Lamborghini, Porsche, Ferrari, Audi and McLaren.  The GT4 series, 6 cars, including Mercedes, BMW and Porsche.  Some great looking cars admired by a lot of car enthusiasts, even better looking in their racing livery.  Friday was a day of free practice over two sessions, the second one being very wet!  This obviously affected the track times and the session was halted twice due to a couple of minor incidents.  Saturdays activities included official practice, qualifying and race 1.  Race 2 was held on Sunday and thankfully the rain held off for both races.
