The late King’s life will be celebrated at the I-Mobile Stadium.

In keeping with the rest of the country, there will be no firework display and pop concert at the I-Mobile stadium this year on New Year’s Eve, following the death of King Bhumibol in October.

However, a celebration of the late King’s life is planned and it appears it will be quite an event. There will be videos shown on a big screen of His Majesty’life as a reminder of the many great things he did for Thailand.

His Majesty with his beloved saxophone.

It is well-known that the King had a passion for music and he was an accomplished musician and composer. His music will be played throughout the night with famous musicians and singers performing his works.

Local school children will also be involved in what is sure to be a moving tribute to a very remarkable man.
