There is yet another new Bar Restaurant in town which is proving most popular. The Windmill is owned by Mathijs (a young Dutch guy) with his wife Junia.
The Windmill Buriram is located on the back road from Big-C and the I-Mobile Stadium, near the Big-C end just around from Ban Tararom.

The Windmill organized a Dutch party on Sunday evening which started at 4 pm and by 5 pm the place was packed.

Although themed as a Dutch party, a large section of the Buriram ex-pats turned up to support the occasion and we are reliably informed that it was made up of around 40% Belgians/Dutch 20% Thai ladies and the other 40% being a mixture of other nationalities which makes Buriram such a great cosmopolitan place to live.

There are plans to expand the number of seats in the future as they are getting more customers as locals come to know about the venue and the fun ambiance.

Once everyone was settled, the first Dutch snacks were served which went on for some two hours. The menu is shown and all on it was served except for the “kroketten”.

Later, almost all the guests took part in a game at the pool table and the drinking party went on until midnight. It was a most successful night for the young owners. Another Dutch Night is being planned for January 2017.
