Princess Makes Flying Visit To Buriram

princessPrincess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, one of Thailand’s favourites, made a flying visit to Buriam earlier this week. 

During her brief visit, the second in line to the throne of Thailand, visited universities and  government projects.

Along the way she inspected Buriram’s envied drainage and water management work and opened a new faculty building at the city’s main home of further education, Rajabaht University.

 drainageA renowned scholar herself, the princess ranked first in the national primary examinations in 1967 then fourth overall in the national university entrance examination in 1972.

Her academic credentials include a degree in history for which she received a first class honours and a doctorate in educational development.

On top of this, the Royal Family member also speaks fluent English, French and Chinese.
