Buriram moved four points clear at the top after the latest round of matches. The leaders won 2-0 at Nakhon Ratchasima in a game that was played in torrential rain. In fact, the referee brought the players off in the first-half as conditions became unplayable. Buriram were leading with a thunderous long-range strike from Bastos and when play resumed Jakkaphan added a well-taken second.

Muang Thong were held to a 0-0 draw by struggling Pattaya with the home side being unable to break down the visitors’ well-organized defence.

Chiang Rai were hit by two late strikes from visitors Bangkok United to go down 0-2 and Sisaket also scored twice in the closing moments to claim a 2-1 home win over BEC Tero.

Ubon found themselves two goals down at home to Navy but hit back to earn a 2-2 draw and a goal for each side in stoppage time saw Bangkok Glass beat Suphanburi 2-1.

Super Power’s miserable season continued with a heavy 4-1 defeat at home to Chonburi whose Renan netted twice while Ratchaburi and Sukothai shared the points in a 1-1 draw.
