A goal-crazy night saw Buriram maintain their four point lead at the top, Coelho’s first-half strike giving them a 1-0 home win over Thai Port. Second-placed Muang Thong needed a stoppage time winner at Nakhon Ratchasima to avoid falling further behind the leaders before their crunch game on Sunday.

The Bangkok derby between United and Glass produced a remarkable nine goal thriller with four goals coming in the last eleven minutes, two to United in stoppage time. Glass at one time led 3-1 with a Sarapeen hat-trick but United’s Boskovic also netted a hat-trick to give the home side a 5-4 victory.

Goals galore also at Thai Honda where the home side shared eight goals with Ubon. Both teams had a man sent off. Not to be outdone, Pattaya thrashed rock-bottom Super Power at home 9-2.

Chiang Rai slipped further behind the top two, losing 2-0 at Navy whilst Chonburi had a narrow 1-0 victory at home to Sisaket.

Suphanburi drew 1-1 at home to Sukothai and BEC Tero and Ratchaburi was goalless.
