Second-placed Muang Thong needed a stoppage time winner at Nakhon Ratchasima to avoid falling further behind the leaders before their crunch game on Sunday.
The Bangkok derby between United and Glass produced a remarkable nine goal thriller with four goals coming in the last eleven minutes, two to United in stoppage time.
