Buriram returned to the top of the table with a 2-1 win at Prachuap after Bangkok United were held 1-1 at home by Ratchaburi. Muang Thong continued their good run with an easy 3-0 victory at Chiang Rai.
Navy thrashed fellow strugglers Pattaya 4-1 at home with Outarra scoring twice. Thai Port had a narrow 3-2 victory over Bangkok Glass which increased the visitors’ relegation woes. Two late goals saw Chonburi to a 2-0 home win over Suphanburi while Ubon won 2-0 away at Air Force.
Chainat climbed out of the relegation zone with a 4-2 home win over Sukhothai who themselves are in deep trouble. Nakhon Ratchasima were held 0-0 at home by Police Tero.
The relegation battle is becoming very exciting with five teams going down. There is only three points separating 9th and 14th, so there is certainly going to be a few twists and turns during the rest of the season.
