They were warmly received by former constituency candidates, Chatchaval Promratham and Rampamamas Teechatananont.
The Prime Minister’s arrival in a black car with the license plate 5558 drew the attention of the public, who eagerly photographed the license plate, hoping for luck in the upcoming government lottery draw on September 16.
As they strolled through the market, the 61-year-old PM engaged in conversations with local vendors, inquiring about the market’s ambiance. He assured the locals that the government would expedite efforts to improve their living conditions. Additionally, he savored various dishes from local stalls, including desserts and pork skewers, expressing his satisfaction with the delectable flavors.
After the market tour, PM Srettha granted an interview in which he praised the market’s bustling trade atmosphere. He noted that many people were eagerly anticipating the government’s digital wallet initiative. Some had also voiced concerns about the nation’s drug problems, a significant issue for the government.
Tomorrow, PM Srettha and his officials will pay their respects at the Khon Kaen City Pillar Shrine. Following this, they will monitor the drought situation and water levels at the Ubolratana Dam in Ubolratana district, check agricultural produce prices, and hold meetings with locals to address their concerns.
