The Thai Meteorological Department has issued a weather forecast warning for the upcoming 24 hours. The forecast predicts extremely hot weather in northern Thailand, accompanied by partly cloudy skies during the day. Some areas may also experience heavy rain and thunderstorms. Residents are advised to take precautions to protect their health from the intense heat.

Additionally, westerly winds blowing across the Andaman Sea, southern Thailand, and the Gulf of Thailand are expected to result in heavy rainfall along the western south coast. Wave heights in the Andaman Sea are estimated to reach around 2 meters, while areas affected by thunderstorms may experience waves exceeding 3 meters. Boat operators in the Andaman Sea are urged to be cautious and avoid navigating in areas with thunderstorms.

Between May 22 and 25, the upper parts of Thailand will be affected by a strengthening southwestern monsoon, while a low-pressure system will dominate Vietnam. Consequently, the northern regions of Thailand will experience increased rainfall and heavy downpours in certain areas. During this period, the accumulation of dust particles and haze is expected to remain at low to moderate levels due to the ongoing rainfall and good air circulation.

The weather forecast for Thailand from 6 am today to 6 am tomorrow indicates generally hot weather across the northern, northeastern, central, and eastern regions. Northern areas, including provinces such as Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Tak, Kamphaeng Phet, and Phetchabun, have a 10% chance of rain. The lowest temperatures in the northeastern parts of the country will range from 24 to 29°C, while the highest temperatures will range from 38 to 40°C, with a 20% chance of rain.
