Thailand reported 1,443 new COVID-19 infections on Tuesday and 4 additional deaths.
Of the new cases, 1,328 were local transmissions, while 113 were imported from people entering quarantine and 2 foreign infected persons (screening at checkpoint and entering the hospital/quarantine).
16,119 people remain in hospital receiving treatment, 28,958 have recovered.
Tuesday’s cases bring the total number of COVID-19 infections in Thailand to 45,185 with 108 deaths.
