Thailand on Monday (May 24) reported 2,713 new COVID-19 cases and 30 more deaths.

● 206 prison / prison infections
Monday’s cases bring the total number of COVID-19 infections in Thailand to 132,213 with 806 deaths.
The news comes as Thai border controls will tighten after the discovery of three local cases of the South African COVID-19 variant stemming from illegal border crossings.
