Thailand on Monday reported 2,048 new COVID-19 cases and 8 more deaths.
Of the new cases, 2,038 were local transmissions, while 10 were imported from people entering quarantine.
There are currently 25,767 people currently receiving treatment in either a hospital or field hospital.
Monday’s cases bring the total number of COVID-19 infections in Thailand to 57,508 with 148 deaths.
