A 50-year-old man named Komin tragically passed away due to a sudden cardiac arrest, suspected to be linked to heavy alcohol consumption and existing health issues. The incident occurred in the Chong Kho community within the large province of Nakhon Ratchasima. Initial reports indicated that Komin had likely been deceased for approximately an hour before his body was found, and there were no signs of physical harm at the scene.
Komin was known to frequently drink alcohol. On the day of the incident, he had reportedly consumed alcohol after finishing his job of selling charcoal. His employer, Wan, discovered him unconscious behind his home, prompting her to contact the local police. It’s believed that his pre-existing health problems, combined with his excessive drinking and the cold weather conditions, might have contributed to his sudden cardiac arrest, as per Khao Sod reports.
However, for a definitive understanding of the cause of death, local authorities have taken Komin’s body to Pimai Hospital for a post-mortem examination. His family has been notified and will proceed with the necessary funeral rites for him.
This incident serves as a poignant reminder of the dangers connected to heavy alcohol consumption, particularly in cold climates and for individuals with existing health issues. The local community has been advised to remain watchful and seek immediate medical help if they encounter any health-related distress.
