Andres Tunez has obtained a Syrian passport and can now be considered an AFC player in Buriram United’s squad. He lived in Syria for a number of years with his father but he will continue to play for Venezuela. This is good news for Buriram as they have opted to leave Diogo out of their Thai League squad for the first half of the season. This makes sense as Diogo is ruled out of the first three months with a shoulder injury. His place has been taken by new signing Weslley.
