In the Thung Fon District of Udon Thani Province, three siblings, known as Pen, Nee, and Orn, secured the second prize in the government lottery. Their fortunate number, 431314, had been revealed to them through a dream by their late father. This dream bestowed upon each sister a windfall of 200,000 baht. Ratchadaporn Thongprasom, a resident of the same district, shared this news on Facebook, causing a wave of excitement within the local community.
These sisters, all of them older women who enjoy a good reputation in their neighborhood, wasted no time after the lottery draw on October 16. They promptly visited the Government Savings Bank in Thung Fon to claim their 200,000 baht (US$5,510) prize money per sister. The joyful moment was even live-streamed on the Facebook page “ไททุ่งฝน 4.0,” capturing the attention and joy of both bank customers and online viewers.
According to Pen, the fortunate number came to them in a dream had by their youngest sister. In this dream, their father, who had passed away six years ago on October 16, appeared and revealed the numbers 14, 41, and 58. On the anniversary of their father’s passing, the three sisters engaged in acts of merit at sacred sites and visited Wat Pa Dong Nong Tan, a well-known temple in Udon Thani, to pray for a winning lottery number, as reported by KhaoSod.
After making merit at Wat Pa Dong Nong Tan, the sisters stopped by a lottery vendor within the temple premises. To their surprise, there was only one set of lottery tickets ending with the number 14. By the afternoon, they discovered that they had won the second prize in the lottery, which filled them with immense excitement. The sisters plan to return to the temple on October 28 to perform a dance ritual in celebration of their lottery win.
Once they claimed their prize money, the three sisters treated their children and grandchildren to a meal at an MK restaurant, spreading their joy and fortune with their loved ones.
