Visa Exemptions Granted to 37 Additional Nations

From 31st Dec 2016, 37 additional nations were granted 30-day visa exemption, instead of 15 days, when entering Thailand via a land border.

As the Kingdom of Thailand ruled that only two entries are allowed for land border crossings per year news came through that certain countries will be entitled to visa exemptions

In addition to passport holders of Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Laos, Macao, Mongolia, Russia, UK and USA – who are granted 30 days visa exemption arriving by both land and air – now the following 37 nation also qualify for 30 days at land borders to match arrival at airports.

As mentioned above, arrival by air for visitors from the 37 nations remains unchanged at 30 days.
