Woman Fatally Stabbed During Ngiew Celebration In Khon Kaen

During the Ngiew celebration in the Phon District of Khon Kaen, a tragic incident occurred where an unidentified attacker fatally stabbed a woman. This occurred in the early hours of December 6, causing severe injuries to the victim, who later passed away in the hospital. Local authorities are urgently searching for the suspect while investigating the distressing event.

Emergency services responded to the scene after a distress call and found the critically wounded woman, who had sustained injuries to her neck and right ear. Despite efforts to save her, she couldn’t survive her severe wounds. The perpetrator fled before the police could apprehend them, prompting a manhunt in the Phon District.

This unfortunate occurrence happened after 2 am, as the event was winding down and police were ensuring order. Reports indicated a violent altercation involving a bladed weapon near the event area, prompting the emergency call. Officials are concentrating on expediting the investigation, focusing on a male suspect whose identity remains unconfirmed.
