As farangs (western nationals) in Thailand recover from their New Year celebrations which the Thai population share with us along with most of the world, the Thais are now preparing for the next New Year celebration. In Thailand we are fortunate to be able to see in three new years, the next being the Chinese New Year at the end of January to be followed by the Thai New Year in April.
Thailand is a little ahead of the rest of the world as we are now in the year 2560
Many special Chinese New Year promotions are being offered to welcome in the auspicious Year of the Rooster in Buriram and various other locations in Thailand.
