Amnat Charoen is a province located in northeastern Thailand, also known as Isan or the Isaan region. It is situated in the lower part of the region, bordering Laos to the east. The province covers an area of approximately 3,161 square kilometers and is divided into seven districts (amphoes): Mueang Amnat Charoen, Chanuman, Pathum Ratchawongsa, Phana, Senangkhanikhom, Hua Taphan, and Lue Amnat.

Amnat Charoen is known for its rural and agricultural landscapes, with vast stretches of rice fields and farms. The province is part of the predominantly rural Isaan region, characterized by a rich cultural heritage and a traditional way of life. The local population primarily engages in agricultural activities, including rice farming, fruit cultivation, and livestock rearing.
