The latest Chang sponsored party took place at the Harley Route 288 Bar on Sunday, November 5 and it turned out to be a thoroughly entertaining evening.
A large number of farang friends turned up to support Tom and Som along with an enthusiastic crowd of Thais which provided a real “party” atmosphere.
Chang also provided some attractive young ladies to assist Tom’s regular bar staff (providing you were drinking Chang!) who as always worked hard to provide quick service with a smile and a joke.
It is easy to take staff for granted but Tom’s girls really do a great job and always make you feel welcome which is really appreciated by all the customers.
The band got going around 7.45pm and soon had the locals up on the dance area. The stage was set up outside of the main bar bar area which worked well and it meant a large number of people could be accommodated without being crammed together.
The music was varied and the guys were all obviously very talented musicians and went down very well. The only downside from a personal point of view was that they did not play enough “farang” numbers, considering the venue and audience.
There was also a raffle for Chang drinkers run by the young Chang ladies with the prizes being presented during the band’s break.
Food was also available throughout the evening and the pool table was also put to extensive use.
All in all an excellent night and I’m sure even more people will attend the next one.
