In Buriram we are very fortunate to have a selection of bars that show all the top sports for us ex-pats to enjoy.
On Saturday morning at 9.30 am we descended on “Jimmy’s Sport Café” to watch the France v England final game of the Six Nation Championship. The game had been televised at 3 am a few hours before but those that knew the score were sworn to secrecy so that the rest of us could pretend it was live play.
It was soon a full house and with most of the six nations represented, there was plenty of friendly banter as usual with a rugby event.
With a great selection on the breakfast menu together with the friendly staff it was a most enjoyable morning.
And if that was not enough the first Formula 1 of the season the Australian Grand Prix was upon us just after 12 noon, which also turned out to be an entertaining race with some spectacular thrills and spills.
Many thanks Jimmy, Noi, Ting and all the staff for a super sports day and great food.
