A video of a western man serving customers in Bangkok’s Chinatown has gone viral.
The clip was shared to the YouLike page by Facebook user Supornchai Sripan on Monday.
Thais commenting on the video praised the restaurant for hiring a foreigner, saying it would help to attract other foreigners to eat at the restaurant.
Another comment questioned what all the fuss was about, saying they see lots of foreigners, such as Cambodians and Burmese people working in restaurants all over Thailand.
Others wondered why the foreign man wanted to work in a restaurant in Thailand given that the job is likely to only come with a small salary.
Good luck to the guy, but I hope he’s got a work permit !?
