A new addition to the Buriram retail scene, P-Mart opened its Buriram branch just over a week ago. It is situated at the traffic lights just before HomePro (route 218)

Aimed mainly at the wholesale market, this new comer to the Buriram retail scene is a convenience style frozen food store. They do welcome retail customers however, please remember that their packs will be somewhat on the large side.
Aisles of generously sized chest freezers offer a wide range of frozen meats and vegetables.

The store looks very professional however, the main drawback for us expats is that you will have to take along your loved one as all the labels are only in Thai. (Cue some severe damage to your wallet.)
Plans and more Plans
This company is based in the Bang Yai district of Bangkok where they are currently building a new H.Q building.
P-Mart are a fairly young outfit with very big ambitions. Earlier this year they launched a 10 billion baht expansion plan aiming to open a store in every province and in neighbouring Asean countries.

They also aim to launch an initial public offering (IPO) with expectations of raising $151 million (5 billion baht). The funds from the IPO will be used to fund further expansion into domestic and international markets.
