Each day the elephants will perform many acts including a football match. Two teams are selected for the friendly soccer match. With elephants sprinting at up to 35 kilometers per hour, and trying to score goals it is amazing to watch and will leave you breathless with excitement and cheering.

The main event is the Reenactment with an eight-act play about the elephantine life, with a grand finale featuring over 2000 performers and over 100 elephants. It is performed in order to show a re-enactment of the battles that Thailand faced in the past century.

The festival shows the nature between its trainers and the elephants and although it may seem like the animals are being exploited, the Thai people hold them in great esteem
