On the second Saturday of January in Thailand each and every year all of the country celebrates”Children’s Day”. The family is everything in Thai culture, and on this day which is known as “Wan Dek” it is celebrated with the children having fun with various activties arranged by both Government agencies and private businesses.
The local schools had a fun day on the Friday (today) and will also organise the children to attend various other locations on Saturday. The universities will step up and have some wonderful entertainment for many of the chidren invited from the surrounding areas.
Buriram United are also organising their annual ” Children’s Day Event” at Thunder Castle Stadium .
A wonderful day to appreciate Thai culture at it’s best.
